Comprehensive Services for Patients with Acromegaly on Somatuline® Depot (lanreotide) Injection Therapy

The Patient Access, Care & Education (PACESM) program from Ipsen has been designed to help address questions that you may have about starting right and staying right on Somatuline Depot therapy. The primary goal of PACE is to simplify interactions between you, your insurance company, and your doctor's office. Our Patient Care Liaisons are at the center of PACE.

In order for you to have access to the benefits of PACE, your doctor will submit a completed Statement of Medical Necessity referral form. Within 24 hours of PACE receiving your Statement of Medical Necessity Form, a Patient Care Liaison will be assigned to your case. Your Patient Care Liaison can:

  • Explain your insurance benefits, payer requirements, and out-of-pocket costs for Somatuline Depot
  • Coordinate delivery of Somatuline Depot starter therapy at no cost for eligible patients*
  • Arrange for injection training, education, and ongoing support through the Ipsen Nurse Network at the request of your doctor
  • Discuss Somatuline Depot financial assistance programs that can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs
  • Coordinate delivery of Somatuline Depot through specialty pharmacies
  • Provide educational materials on Somatuline Depot and acromegaly

Throughout your Somatuline Depot therapy, your Patient Care Liaison will be available to answer your questions by phone. PACE hours are every business day (5 am-5 pm PST, Mon-Fri).

If you haven't heard from your Patient Care Liaison within 2 business days after your doctor writes your prescription, please call 866-435-5677.

It's important that your Patient Care Liaison speak to you directly, so that you can arrange to get the benefits provided by PACE.

*Patient Eligibility Criteria: Patient has been diagnosed with acromegaly. Patient's prescriptions are not paid in part or full by any state-funded or federally funded programs, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, Medigap, VA, DOD, or TriCare.
